Vaccination is the best way to protect your child from serious diseases. To help you keep up-to-date with your child's vaccinations, NSW Health have developed an awesome app called 'Save the Date to Vaccinate'

This app is free to download to your Android smart phone via Google Play Store or iPhone via iTunes.

Once you have downloaded the app, all you need to do is create a schedule for each child by entering their name, date of birth and the name and number of your local Doctor.

The app will then display all vaccinations required from 6 weeks-4 years. You can select each age for more information on each vaccine and what illnesses they are designed to protect your children from.

If you're registering your child on this app after they have already had one or a number of vaccines, you can simply select that the applicable vaccinations have been completed.

The app will automatically remind you when it is time for your child's next vaccination. It also gives you the option to call your Doctor to make the appointment or to note that the appointment has already been scheduled.

In addition to the above, the app also has a handy lullaby feature. This feature allows you to play 3 lullabies on repeat for up to 30 minutes. The lullabies are:

  • Rock-a-bye baby
  • Twinkle, twinkle little star
  • Hush little baby

  • This is obviously just an add on, but a handy feature, nonetheless.
