Raisins helps to regulate the bowel movement. Soak a couple of raisins in hot water for about 2-3 hours. Crush them and give to your child 4-5 times a day.
Include around 3-4 servings of high-fiber foods such as sweet potatoes, beans, broccoli, spinach etc to the child’s diet. At least 2 servings of fruits such as plums, peaches, apricots would also help in the bowel movements.
If the kids still feel uncomfortable, it is advisable to consult a medical practitioner.
