The recent rainy weather in Sydney has meant we haven't been able to get outside in a couple of days. So here is a quick and easy idea that will challenge your kids imagination and keep them entertained for hours.
All you need is:
Simply cut of different shapes in different sizes and colours and let your kids imagination run wild
Using the coloured paper, cut out a variety shapes and sizes. Then, simply let them create until their little hearts desire.
Let the kids explore colours and shapes by manipulating the shapes to make different pictures.
This task is not only fun and creative, but educational too. They will learn all about colours, shapes and pictures they can make by combining the shapes in different patterns.
The kids can make all different scenes using the shapes - here my daughter created a train
Encourage them to add detail to their pictures by using coloured pencils. Here my daughter created a boating scene and added waves using a coloured pencil.
