One of the great things about the internet is the amount of free stuff available for kids. In addition to the myriad of articles that inspire parents regarding potential activities and outings to do with their children, there is also the wonderful world of printables, where with just a few clicks of your mouse, you'll have an easy activity for your child for free. The selection of printables on the internet is wide to say the least. In it's most basic form, you can download colouring in sheets featuring your kids favourite characters (great for parties), or you can download fun educational activities, flashcards, puzzles and crafts. There's a limitless selection of printables, but finding the best ones out there can be overwhelming. To take some of the hard work away for you, here's the lowdown, on 5 really cool sites:

1) Activity Village

Sometimes children will get particularly fixated on certain TV characters, and you can make their day quickly and easily by grabbing them a printable featuring their favourite cartoon figure.
