Scratch Art Review
Scratch Art - Author's Photo

You start with a black page, scratch into it, and a rainbow image of your creation soon appears. This is a fun and simple activity, and kids of all ages will just love watching the colorful results of their stencils come to life. You could also draw straight onto the scratch sheet without using the stencils if you prefer.

Placing the stencil - Author's Photo

Each kit (cleverly designed by Cre8tiv Kidz) comes with an instruction manual, a range of three stencils, twelve black scratch sheets and two plastic scratching tools. Then all that's required is to select your favorite stencils, hold them in place and scratch into the black cover to reveal the colorful rainbow designs hidden underneath.

Scratch Art Review

The Scratch Art Kit would make an ideal gift for any children aged over five years - as the younger children may find it a little bit difficult to hold the stencils in place. I highly recommend Scratch Art as an ideal activity to keep kids entertained in a cafe, on a plane or perhaps a long car trip. You can purchase the kits at Kmart for around $10.00.
