This puzzle pack is a perfect gift for a Thomas loving child. The pack contains 3, 24 piece puzzles each sized at 12 inches x 9 inches; so perfect for putting together at the coffee table or on the floor.

The Puzzle Pack

Each puzzle is colourful and aside from the star of the show (Thomas), they depict railway scenes that include other favourite characters such as Percy, Harold, Cranky the Crane, Bertie the Bus and the Fat Controller. The jigsaw puzzles are 3D so the action of the scene jumps out from the puzzle at you. I think kids would love this added effect.

Priced at under $10 in leading toy shops, this is a cheap gift for someone that will bring hours of entertainment.

Thomas and the Fat Controller

The negatives for me of this product, is that it is aimed at 3 yet the pieces (even for an adult doing the jigsaw) are clumsy and don't fit together all that evenly. The result is a little disjointed with many raised bits of puzzle, not like the normal flat jigsaw puzzles you are likely used to. This combined with the 3D effect makes for a slightly frantic finished product. The other minor negative is that once you have the three puzzles out of their respective packets, they all then mingle in the box together making it hard to discern which pieces belong to which puzzle. We've overcome this by putting each puzzle into a separate cheap and cheerful ziplock bag and you might want to bear this in mind if you've got small kids who'd have trouble telling puzzles apart from one another.

The puzzle pieces don't fit together ever so well

It's a nice cheap puzzle pack, great for Thomas fans aged 3 and upwards, but its integrity is a little lacking. I'd only give it 6/10.
