Travel Buddies, Bunny kit
Our Bunny Travel Buddy

This cute little sewing kit by My Studio Girl is the perfect gift for crafty over 8 year olds. The kit comes in three mother and baby animal designs - Bunny, Monkey or Mouse and all the felt pieces are pre-punched for ease of sewing.

Two Child-Safe plastic sewing needles, plenty of thread and stuffing accompany the kit, so all you have to do is sit down and start sewing.

Once your adorable travel buddies have been sewn together, you can add stickers to the tin suitcase, and they're ready for a fun adventure.

Tuck your Travel buddy into bed

We found the Travel Buddies are really simple to put together and they come with their own mini suitcase (only 10 centimetres long) which doubles as a bed (DIY pillow and blanket included). It is a highly recommended and thoughtful gift for any budding sewers.

My 4 year kid was given one of these by a friend before a very long plane journey. She was too young to manage it on her own but she loved making it with me helping. She could manage the sewing part if I held it together and pointed out where to poke the needle through. It was a great way to pass the time on the journey.
