apps for mums

Did you know there is an app for just about anything you can think of?

Here's a selection of apps for the mum to be.

Contractions Timer

That’s right, if you stayed home alone and your contractions started and you didn’t have anyone to count how far apart they are you most definitely won’t time them yourself!

This app provides the user with an easy way to time your contractions and even if they are a false alarm you can always start over. Contractions Timer calculates how far apart the contractions are and how long they last for.

My Pregnancy Today

Pregnancy Today will help you with every step of your pregnancy. You just enter the due date you have received from your doctor and each day you will receive updates and information on what to expect. You can even see what will happen in the later stages of your pregnancy all you need to do is scroll down and have a read! This type of app will save you money on book purchases the likes of which typically cost over $25.

Baby Names

If you still have no idea on what name to pick, then Baby Names app has you covered with over 50 000 names for you to choose from

Here's a selection of apps for new mums:

My Baby Today

This is the same as the pregnancy today app but it guides you with what’s happening and what is to come with your baby.

Lullaby for Babies

The app looks very simple but it helps your baby fall asleep or at least you can start building a routine each night and show baby that the music is his or her introduction to bedtime.

White Noise Baby

I didn’t know about this one either but it is a life saver!! A white noise is simply a sound that will remind your baby of being in the uterus. This normally soothes your baby and either calms them down or them to fall asleep.

There are plenty more but these will make a huge difference for a new mum and dad!
