Your children will enjoy helping you, just be sure not to give them anything they can hurt themselves with. The following 5 recipes are perfect if you are planning to cook together with your kids.
Baking bread is a great activity, and your children are going to have much fun doing it. If they want to feel like real chefs, you can let them measure, scoop and knead. They can do this and help you make bread with the taste of honey. For this you’ll need flour, milk, butter, honey, yeast and salt. It’s pretty easy to make. You mix honey, melted butter and salt in a bowl of warmed milk. When you add flour you will get the dough which is ready for kneading. This is the kids’ favorite part. They can squeeze it, pull it and punch it as much as they want. You have to let it rise for 20 minutes and then it’s ready for baking (30-35 minutes).
Creamy Mac ‘n’ Cheese
Mac ‘n’ cheese is one of the favorite foods among children. It tastes great plus it can be fun for them to play with macaroni while you are cooking. They will like it even more if you make it with milk. This is why it’s called creamy mac ‘n’ cheese. The only three things you need are macaroni, cheese and milk. Instead of boiling macaroni in hot water, you should cook them in milk. In the end you just add cheese and the whole meal is done. Kids like the macaroni more when they are creamy and it will be more interesting for them to make it that way.

Cookie Cutter Fruit Salad
Cutting fruit with a cookie cutter can be a great way to make your children eat healthier food. A great way to do this is to find interesting cookie cutters (shaped like stars, hearts, moons etc.) and cut fruits with them. You’ll also want to mix fruits of different colors in order to get a beautiful fruit salad. Make these interesting shapes out of watermelon and add some blueberries to it. So, not only that your fruit salad will taste great but it will also look beautiful. Your children can use the cookie cutter and add their favorite fruits to the salad.
Peanut Butter Banana Quesadillas
Kids will love the taste of peanut butter, chocolate and banana all mixed together. Plus, the fact that it comes wrapped up in tortilla will make it more interesting for them. You can spread the peanut butter over it and cut the chocolate and the banana. Give the pieces you cut to your children and let them arrange it all over the tortilla. You can fold the tortilla together and the only thing left to do is to heat it until it’s golden and crispy on both sides.

This is also going to be one of your kids’ favorite meals. It has absolutely everything you need: veggies, yummy taco flavor and it is a kind of pizza. The first thing you’ll need to do is make the dough (again, here you can utilize the help of your children). You can make it in any shape and size, depending on the cookware you are using.
