Lets face it, when youíre a kid nothing is more exciting than receiving a new toy. Whether its for Christmas, your birthday or just for the sake of it Ė Kids donít mind.

So this lead me to ask the question Ė What should you look for when choosing the ideal toys for your kids?

To answer this question I did some research and what I revealed is that there are 3 key points that you should look for whenever choosing toys for your kids.

1. Eco-friendly

When your child is little, do you really want them sucking on lead paint or harmful chemicals? I know that the industry is getting a lot cleaner in recent years, but the risk still exsists. So how do you get around it?

Our honest suggestion is to stick with eco friendly companies such as Le Toy Van .

In fact Ė Most wooden toy companies will fit the bill and will be safe for your kids to play with.

2. Solid design

Donít you hate it when you buy your kids a toy and only a few weeks later its already broken? Not only is it a waste of money from your point of view, but it also greatly upsets your kids as their new favorite toy is out of action.

When choosing toys make sure that they are well build with wooden, BPA Free plastic or stainless steel.

3. No small chocking hazards

We all love our kids, so there is nothing more frightening than hearing stories of toddlers choking on small toy parts. In fact, it can be the biggest nightmare for many parents of small kids.

So I know this advice has been rammed home many times before Ė but avoid toys with chocking hazards!

This means toys with small parts that can be removed, or even long thin sections that they might put in their mouth.

By following these 3 pieces of advice your kids will enjoy their new toys more, youíll feel safer, and your wallet will thank you long term.
