Most preschoolers love telling jokes but don't always 'get' the punch line or might instead tell their own version with a different ending. Here's a repertoire of easy first jokes which little ones will find funny and might even remember.

Why did the cow cross the road?
To go to the mooooooovies!

Why did the sheep cross the road?
To go to the baaaaaaarber shop!

Why did the horse cross the road?
To visit his neeeeeighbours!

What wobbles in the sky?
A jellycopter!

What do you call a sleepy bull?
A bulldozer!

What do you get if you mix a kangaroo with a sheep?
A woolly jumper!

And a bonus rude one too (which you might prefer not to teach them, but I bet it will be their favourite!).

Why did the baker have smelly hands?
